Job Title: Kitchen Helper

Reports to: Head Chef / Kitchen Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to assist with food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen organization in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in basic food preparation (e.g., chopping vegetables, seasoning meat)
• Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized at all times
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Ensure proper storage of food and supplies
• Take out trash and maintain cleanliness of garbage areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Support chefs and cooks as needed
• Perform other duties assigned by kitchen supervisors
Qualifications:
• Prior experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good physical stamina; ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Work Conditions:
• Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Hot, humid, and noisy kitchen environment
