Job Description

PKF Accountants and Business Advisers is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Audit Clerk to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, as well as providing support to our auditing team.


Responsibilities & Duties
• Perform reconciliations of accounts and supporting schedules and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and maintain audit work papers and ensure proper documentation of the audit process.
• Prepare summaries of audit results for review by senior auditors or management.
• Review and verify financial data, records, and internal controls.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information and adhere to accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications/Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or pursuing ACCA
• Experience in an accounting environment would be helpful

Abilities & Skills
• Familiarity with auditing standards and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and industry standards.
• Ensure that the organization adheres to applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
