Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to help manage our financial operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with all Grenadian financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate ledgers by recording all daily transactions (purchases, sales, receipts, and payments).
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable (ensuring vendors are paid on time) and accounts receivable (following up on outstanding customer invoices).
- Process monthly payroll for all staff.
- Calculate and file monthly NIS contributions.
- Prepare and file monthly VAT returns accurately and on time.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets.
- Maintain an orderly filing system for all financial records, receipts, and invoices for audit readiness.
- Monitor office supplies and overhead expenses to identify potential cost savings.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven bookkeeping or junior accounting experience
- Software: High proficiency in QuickBooks Online (or similar software like Xero/Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Preferred formal training or certification such as professional certification, CXC Principles of Accounts, A levels or CAPE, etc.
- Integrity: Proven ability to handle sensitive financial information with absolute confidentiality and honesty.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for dealing with clients, vendors and government agencies.
- Flexible engagement (part-time or full-time may be considered)
