JOB PURPOSE
As the Marketing Manager of the Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA), this role plays a pivotal role in executing marketing initiatives to promote Grenada as a premier tourist destination. The Marketing Manager oversees the engagement with local marketing service providers, coordinates advertising logistics, assesses the impact of marketing activities, and ensures alignment with the organization’s strategic goals. Additionally, this position involves managing digital platforms, planning and executing trade and consumer events, and providing support to the overseas offices.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- In collaboration with the CEO and CMO the Marketing Manager, participates in the development of and oversees the implementation of the Global Strategy for the destination.
- Manages and coordinates the engagement with Marketing service providers.
- Serves as central point of communication with contractors providing instructions and receiving feedback.
- Plans, monitors, and coordinates the logistics of providing advertising materials and services with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manages the development and placement of media installations.
- Participates in the negotiations of local media buying, in collaboration with the external contractor.
- Assesses the impact of marketing activities to measure and report on the ROI.
- Ensures principles of governance are applied when participating in event planning and execution.
- Ensures planned activities are aligned to the strategic goals of the GTA and delivers the targeted value-add.
- Ensures the effective use of the various digital platforms in terms of accessibility and availability, content, customer service and responsiveness.
- Strategically plans attendance at trade and consumer travel events, regional promotions, and efficiently executes activations in markets.
- Oversee the Marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and prepare regular reports for senior leadership with insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Prepares reports from business meetings attended outside of Grenada and follows up on timely delivery of required actions.
- Manages the coordination of training programmes in collaboration with the respective Directors of Sales.
- Provides consulting services, advice and support to stakeholders and their associations to improve the delivery of GTA’s tourism products and services.
- Oversees the development of marketing strategies to improve and integrate new and existing products for promotional purposes.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum bachelor’s degree in the following or a combination of: Marketing, Sales Management, Tourism and Hospitality, Public Relations.
At least five (5) years’ work experience at a managerial level
