Reports to: Chairman, Grenada Citizenship By Investment Committee (CBIC)

The Grenada Citizenship by Investment Committee (CBIC) was established, in accordance with the Grenada Citizenship by Investment Act, 2013. It is the Government body charged with the mandate for overseeing the processing of applications for Citizenship by Investment or by Permanent Residence.

The operational and administrative work of the CBIC is executed by the Investment Migration Agency (Grenada) also referred to as IMA. The Agency currently has twenty-seven (27) dedicated members of staff.

Over the past five (5) years, the Grenada Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Programme has raised over $770M for the National Transformation Fund and $470M for Tourism Real Estate Projects. The Programme has contributed significantly to the growth of Grenada’s economy and continues to receive heightened international recognition. Additionally, the inward investment it promotes has led to the creation of sustainable long-term employment, specialist training, and the general broadening of skills for Grenadians.

About the Role:
The Grenada Citizenship By Investment Committee is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the Investment Migration Agency of Grenada. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for spearheading the strategic direction, operational excellence, and global competitiveness of Grenada’s CBI Programme. The CEO will drive the implementation of key initiatives, ensure rigorous risk and compliance management, and foster robust stakeholder relationships to solidify the Programme’s reputation for strength, sustainability, and superior performance.

Key Responsibilities include:
1. Drive the development and implementation of the strategic initiatives required to strengthen and grow Grenada’s CBI Programme;
2. Ensure the implementation and maintenance of an effective financial planning and control function;
3. Lobby for, and effect change to external regulations and guidelines which would positively impact Grenada’s programme;
4. Conduct rigorous assessments of project proposals;
5. Implement effective oversight of approved projects to ensure compliance with terms and conditions of approvals;
6. Ensure service delivery is beyond expectations; and
7. Ensure all aspects of the operations comply with applicable laws and regulations.

The preferred mix of qualifications, experience and competencies include:
1. Post-graduate qualifications in Finance, Business, Economics or related field
2. Professional accreditation in Accountancy, Finance or Risk Management
3. Minimum of 10 years’ successful executive leadership and managerial experience in a corporate or statutory entity
4. Excellent project management skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines
5. Proven ability of developing high performing teams
6. Excellent emotional intelligence and negotiation skills
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and collaboration tools

Pay Grade: CEO
Salary range: EC$244,000 – EC$366,000
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
