VACANCY: Grenada Food and Nutrition Council
Job Title: Chief Executive Officer
Location: Archibald Avenue, St. George
Employment Type: Full-time – Contract.

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and results-driven individual to join our team as Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and manage the operations of the Grenada Food and Nutrition Council in accordance with the law. The Chief Executive Officer will support the Board of Directors in advancing national food security and nutrition priorities through the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of policies, programmes, and initiatives aimed at improving the health and well-being of the population

Key Responsibilities:
· Provide strategic leadership and advice on national food security and nutrition.
· Lead the development and implementation of policies, programmes, and plans.
· Oversee the Council’s operations, strategic planning, and budget.
· Support advocacy and policy development to advance food security and nutrition goals.
· Make recommendations for legislative and policy reforms relating to food and nutrition security.

Qualifications and Experience
· Master’s degree in food security, food and nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
· A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant professional experience, including at least five (5) years in a senior management or leadership role, is desired.
· Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, policy development, programme management, budgeting, research, monitoring and evaluation, and stakeholder engagement. Experience in project development/management and grant acquisition/fundraising is an asset.
· Sound knowledge of food and nutrition security issues, public health policies, and national development priorities.
· Excellent leadership, communication, advocacy, and organizational management skills.
