Job Description

Essentially the Senior Auto Mechanic supervise and performs all mechanical, structural repairs and maintenance of ground support equipment to ensure that all such equipment of ASG is functional at all times. He/She ensures that ASG’s equipment is available to provide the support needed for the safe aircraft handling and aircraft servicing activities.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

Minimum acceptable academic/Technical/Professional Qualifications
• 5 CXC Passes inclusive of English and Math
• Tertiary Education is useful
• Certification of completion in one of the following trades Heavy Duty/Commercial or Automotive mechanic license. Certification must be kept in good standing

Minimum Number of Years of Relevant Experience
• 5 years’ experience within the Auto Mobile industry

Specific Skills/Experience and/or Knowledge
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good Leadership Skills
• Good Customer Service Skills
• Must be computer literate
• Proven ability in vehicle electrical systems and fault diagnostics
• Proven ability in pneumatic and hydraulic systems diagnostic and repair
• Familiarity with excellent standards of quality control
• Valid all class driver’s license
