Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Purchasing of spares, replacement parts and other auxiliary materials.
- Liaising with in-house customs department personnel to ensure goods are received as scheduled, reconciliation of incoming parts and spares and other auxiliary materials through the confirmation of a receiving report.
- Ensure that the necessary procedures are followed in handling claims on shippers and suppliers.
QUALIFICATION/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Associates Degree in Business Management/ Accounting or equivalent and Five (5) years’ experience in a similar position.
- Detailed knowledge of purchasing requirements.
- In-depth understanding of international & local shipping procedures.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office.
- Excellent troubleshooting and negotiating skills.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
