Job Description

We are looking for a mature, responsible TRUCK DRIVER with previous driving experience to join our team operating in Morne Rouge, St. George’s, Grenada.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for safe, accident-free operation of company vehicle (4 Ton Flatbed Truck) to facilitate the delivery of goods.
  • Assist Warehouse Manager with safely and accurately loading and organizing deliveries.
  • Assist Warehouse Attendants with unloading of goods being delivered to retail stores & customers.
  • Verifies order details and obtains customer signature on store copy of delivery ticket.
  • Informs store management or personnel of any customer complaints or requests.
  • Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the inside and outside of delivery vehicles.
  • Treats all customers and coworkers with courtesy and respect.
  • Performs routine safety checks on vehicles according to company guidelines.
  • Assists warehouse with stocking, loading and organizing materials.
  • Assist customers with loading material and product questions when not driving delivery truck.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma.
  • Certificate of character.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license for commercial goods vehicle, defensive driving certification and reputation as a safe driver.
  • Must be over 25 years old with a strong moral work ethic and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Must be fit and physically able to assist with loading and offloading of goods
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm and Saturdays 8:30am to 1:30pm
