Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the post of Secretary/Cashier at our company.
Duties to include but not limited to:
❖ Managing correspondence, including emails and letters.
❖ Scheduling appointments and meetings.
❖ Maintaining office files and records.
❖ Preparing reports and documents as required.
❖ Ensure accurate collection of funds for goods sold.
❖ Ensure customers receive accurate invoice (s) to match goods requested and for funds received.
❖ Ensure invoices are closed in a timely manner.
❖ Ensure cheques written by customers are filled out properly and will be accepted by the Financial Institution.
❖ Ensure accurate balancing of cash at the end of the day and that deposit slips are accurately written.
❖ Ensure safe custody of cash at the end of the work day.
❖ Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
❖ Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
Minimum qualifications:
✓ Minimum of 5 CXC passes, must include Mathematics.
✓ No less than two years work experience.
✓ Competence in MS Office suite especially Excel and Word
