Job Description
Spice Island Beach Resort, Grenada’s first AAA Five Diamond and Six Star Diamond resort, invites culinary professionals experienced in the art of pastry to become part of an award-winning team. The selected candidate would be required to assist in elevating the resort’s culinary experiences.
What we seek
- 3 – 5 years’ similar experience in luxury resorts or fine dining restaurants. International experience would be an asset.
- Culinary qualifications preferred
- Experienced in preparing high quality pastries, chocolates, desserts and breads
- Creativity in use of local flavours and plate presentations
- Sound understanding of how flavours interact
- Consistency in the use of recipes and adherence to standards
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene best practices
- Adaptability and flexibility to meet the dynamic demands of a luxury resort
- Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
