Opportunities exist for experienced culinary professionals to become part of an award-winning team in the position of Cook.

What we seek

At least 5 years’ similar experience in luxury resorts or fine dining restaurants. International experience would be an asset.
Culinary qualifications preferred
Experienced in preparation of meats, fish and seafood, to specifications
Creativity in use of local flavours and plate presentations
Customer oriented, with great interaction skills
Consistency in the use of recipes and adherence to standards
Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene best practices
Adaptability and flexibility to meet the dynamic demands of a luxury resort
Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays

Kitchen Steward

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including dishes, utensils, and equipment
Operate dishwashing machines and handle manual cleaning as needed
Ensure proper sanitation of food preparation areas
Assist in receiving and storing kitchen deliveries
Dispose of waste properly and follow recycling procedures
Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic prep work and kitchen organization

Requirements:

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is an asset, but not required
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy items and stand for long periods
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
