Position Summary: Research Officer
Contract Type: Fixed Term

• Computer literate; must be able to use the Internet and other research tools effectively.

Position Requirements and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Business, Tourism or related discipline
• Three years’ working experience in a data gathering environment.
• Proven working knowledge of Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS)
• Prior knowledge and experience in research and research methodology.
• Must have IT knowledge and experience of document management software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Canva is desirable

• Provide detailed information about tour itineraries, destinations, activities, and inclusions
• Process bookings, reservations, and payments accurately and efficiently
• Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
• Research and answer questions about destinations, visas, travel documents, and local customs
• Maintain and update customer information in our CRM system
• Promote additional travel products and services (optional)
