A well-established restaurant in True Blue is seeking Cooks, Waitresses, and Dishwashers to join our team. If you are hardworking, reliable, and passionate about the hospitality industry, we want to hear from you!

General Requirements:

• Must be able to work night shifts
• Available to work on Sundays and public holidays
• Must live in close proximity to the restaurant
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good team player with a positive attitude
• Prior experience in a similar role is an asset but not required

Position Responsibilities:

Cooks:

• Prepare and cook meals according to restaurant recipes and standards
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards are maintained
• Assist in kitchen prep and stock management
• Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations

Waitresses:

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take orders accurately and deliver food and beverages efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
• Handle customer inquiries and ensure a positive dining experience

Dishwashers:

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dishwashing areas
• Assist with basic kitchen tasks as needed
• Follow health and safety regulations

Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation and Customer Service:
○ Assist with preparing ingredients, such as chopping, slicing, and peeling vegetables and fruits.
○ Wash and sanitize produce to ensure food safety standards.
○ Package and store food items properly.
○ Assist in preparing customer orders.
○ Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
○ Assist with fulfilling customer orders as needed.
○ Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Kitchen Maintenance:
○ Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including work surfaces, equipment, dishes, and floors.
○ Wash dishes, pots, and pans.
○ Take out trash and recycling.
○ Stock kitchen supplies and ingredients.
○ Update and maintain kitchen stock lists.

Qualifications:
● Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred, but not required.
● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
● Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
● Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain).
● A passion for food and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
● Basic food safety knowledge and certification (or willingness to obtain).
