The Grenada National Museum invites applications from enthusiastic, service-oriented individuals to join our team as a Museum Assistant.

Position Summary
The Museum Assistant will be the first point of contact for visitors, providing friendly and professional service while promoting cultural appreciation and engagement. This role includes assisting with tours, ticketing, events and exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities
• Greet and assist visitors, responding to inquiries in person, by phone, and email.
• Process ticket sales efficiently.
• Assist with guided tours and special events.
• Support exhibition setup, gallery operations, and educational programmes.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and visitor satisfaction.

Requirements
• High school diploma (Associate degree in history, tourism, or related field preferred).
• 1–2 years’ experience in customer service, or hospitality.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Work Environment
This role involves active engagement with visitors, participation in events, and some administrative work. It requires movement around gallery spaces and occasional lifting of materials

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following positions.

1. Automobile Mechanic:
   ✓ Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage.
   ✓ Minimum of a Level 1 & 2 Certificate in Automotive
   ✓ No less than two years work experience as a mechanic
   ✓ Competence in computer
   
2. Gardener:
   ✓ Maintaining plants by watering, fertilizing and trimming them
   ✓ Using and maintaining gardening tools and light gardening machinery
   ✓ Cleaning up garden and areas around the company
   
3. Auto Sales Representative:
   ✓ Present vehicle attributes, model options, features, finance options and store policies and services to customers
   ✓ Facilitate customer test drives
   ✓ Associate degree in Business
   ✓ No less than two years’ work experience
   ✓ Must have a valid B or D class license
   
4. Sales Representative:
   ✓ Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items.
   ✓ Advises customers by providing information on products.
   ✓ Minimum of 5 CXC passes
   ✓ No less than two years’ work experience
   ✓ Competence in MS Office suite especially Excel and Word
   
5. Service Advisor:
   ✓ Greet all customers upon arrival, check service history and determine customer needs
   ✓ Provide cost & completion time estimate and determine need to retain old parts
   ✓ Associate degree in Business or a minimum of 5 CXC passes
   ✓ No less than two years work experience
   ✓ Competence in MS Office suite especially Excel and Word
   ✓ Knowledge of Vehicles Parts and technical product knowledge of vehicles will be an asset
