Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for internal staff and remote teams (Grenada, UK, Chennai, and other markets).
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage and respond to support tickets via Zoho Desk (or other ticketing systems).
• Support user access and device management (Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID).
• Assist with remote monitoring, backups, and cloud platforms (Azure, Wasabi, etc.).
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS).
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT or infrastructure teams as required.
• Document troubleshooting steps and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
• Provide excellent customer service with timely and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 1–2 years’ experience in a technical support/helpdesk role.
• Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (Zoho Desk, Zendesk, Jira, ServiceNow).
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, or ITIL are a plus.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with remote management tools (RMM, Intune, Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of automation/chatbot systems.
• Basic scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.

Southern Waste is looking for drivers with a D1 Licence. Drivers must have experience driving skip trucks or large garbage compactor trucks. Drivers must have a clean driving record, be able to navigate narrow roads, and drive carefully and responsibly.

Mechanic (In House)
Southern Waste is hiring an in-house mechanic with proven experience in heavy diesel engine mechanics. They will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and diagnosis of diesel engines in our skip trucks, garbage compactor trucks, and septic tank trucks.
Terms: Full time, permanent
Hours: Monday to Sunday, but is flexible
Location: River Road, St. George’s

Sanitation Workers (Loaders)
Southern Waste has openings for sanitation workers (loaders). The job entails collecting and disposing of garbage from residential and commercial properties.

The Grenada Tourism Authority is seeking Beach Maintenance Staff to work in the south of the island. Our beach maintenance workers operate under the direct supervision of the Beach Maintenance Supervisor and are responsible for:

• Cleaning beaches and the immediate surroundings.
• Operating and maintaining beach cleaning tools.
• Ensuring that safety hazards are reported to the Supervisor.
• Providing general assistance and information to beachgoers; responding to routine questions.
