• Drivers License or Forklift License would be an asset

Our ideal candidate is a hard working, trustworthy and reliable individual with warehouse supervisory experience and a commitment to a safe and efficient work environment. Reports to the Warehouse Manager and General Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to achieve optimal productivity and adherence to rules
•Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through the coordinating of warehouse processes to quickly and accurately fulfill customer orders
•Maintain accurate records, report relevant information to superiors, and preparation of any necessary documentation
•Ensure safety protocols and procedures are followed including use of provided safety gear. •Safety of the personnel and the safe handling of the company’s goods are paramount.
•Assist Warehouse Manager in producing reports and maintaining records
•Assist in the recruitment and training of Warehouse Attendants, helping to build a culture of discipline and excellence
•Safely drive or direct the company’s forklift and 4-Ton flatbed truck when called upon to do so including for deliveries in the absence of the main Truck driver.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment
•Minimum 5 O-Level passes including Math and English. Higher education is a plus.
•Computer literate, including proficiency in •Microsoft Office programs
•Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
•Must be of sound mind and body and capable of lifting moderate to heavy goods.
•Valid driver’s license (D & D1) and clean driving record

Working Hours – Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Saturdays 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Must be willing to work overtime and coordinate this effectively with the Warehouse Manager

Compensation – Salary is commensurate with education level or prior experience.
