An opportunity exists for an experienced HR & Admin Manager to further develop staff capabilities across all departments, refine employment policies and procedures that guide workplace conduct, oversee labour relations and drive employee engagement. The ideal candidate will have full-cycle HR management experience in a hospitality environment, a proven ability to align HR strategy with an evolving organisational vision, and proven success in building highly engaged teams.

Key responsibilities:

1. Support organisational design and role clarity by maintaining up-to-date reporting structures, job descriptions and performance standards. Ensure performance management systems, including annual work planning, align with the company’s goals and objectives.
2. Strengthen departmental capability and guest service consistency by collaborating with other managers on developing SOPs and coordinating training. Coordinate and facilitate general training, professional development and role-specific learning aligned with the hotel’s service philosophy.
3. Drive employee engagement by implementing an enhanced Reward & Recognition programme and wellbeing initiatives for all levels of employees.
4. Oversee full-cycle HR operations, including recruitment, benefits administration and performance improvement processes. Support the Resort Manager in managing labour relations with the representative Union.
5. Revise and maintain employment policies and procedures that guide workplace conduct.
6. Lead the Administration function, overseeing services which support other departments.
7. Serve as Manager-on-Duty including weekends and public holidays, working variable shifts to align with the resort’s 24-hour operations.

What we seek:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field
2. Minimum eight (8) years of progressive Human Resource experience, including at least four (4) years in a Human Resource Management role within a hospitality environment
3. Proven ability to create detailed SOP manuals and general policies and procedures
4. Proven experience in creating and delivering customised training programmes
5. Excellent emotional intelligence and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
6. Excellent organisational, project management and collaboration skills
7. Demonstrated experience in labour relations within a unionised environment, including participation in negotiating Collective Labour Agreements
8. Excellent technology skills, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and cloud-based collaboration tools
9. Comfortable with agility in a dynamic environment, adapting quickly to shifting priorities while maintaining consistent HR standards
10. Willingness and ability to work variable shift times, including on weekends and public holidays, which are standard for this role

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and results-driven individual to join our team as Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and manage the operations of the Grenada Food and Nutrition Council in accordance with the law. The Chief Executive Officer will support the Board of Directors in advancing national food security and nutrition priorities through the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of policies, programmes, and initiatives aimed at improving the health and well-being of the population

Key Responsibilities:
· Provide strategic leadership and advice on national food security and nutrition.
· Lead the development and implementation of policies, programmes, and plans.
· Oversee the Council’s operations, strategic planning, and budget.
· Support advocacy and policy development to advance food security and nutrition goals.
· Make recommendations for legislative and policy reforms relating to food and nutrition security.

Qualifications and Experience
· Master’s degree in food security, food and nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
· A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant professional experience, including at least five (5) years in a senior management or leadership role, is desired.
· Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, policy development, programme management, budgeting, research, monitoring and evaluation, and stakeholder engagement. Experience in project development/management and grant acquisition/fundraising is an asset.
· Sound knowledge of food and nutrition security issues, public health policies, and national development priorities.
· Excellent leadership, communication, advocacy, and organizational management skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Represent and advocate on behalf of union members in negotiations with employers
• Handle grievances and disputes
• Conduct and support collective bargaining
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of cases, agreements, and correspondence
• Provide guidance to members on industrial relations matters and applicable labour laws
• Liaise with employers, government institutions, and other stakeholders on behalf of the Union
• Conduct workplace visits and field work as required
• Prepare reports, correspondences and recommendations arising from workplace investigations and negotiations. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of five (5) CXC subjects, including English Language
• Certificate in Industrial Relations or a related field
• Training in Occupational Safety and Health
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in negotiations, grievance handling, and record keeping
• Sound working knowledge of local labour laws and industrial relations practice
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with members, employers, and officials at all levels
• A valid driver’s license and access to personal transportation are required
