Job Description

An established marina and restaurant located in Woburn, St. George’s is seeking a Bookkeeper.
As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen and restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:
● Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable.
● Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and efficiently.
● Maintain and update the general ledger.
● Prepare financial reports as needed (e.g., balance sheets, income statements).
● Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate record-keeping.
● Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements in Grenada.
● Maintain organized and accurate financial records and filing systems.
● Collaborate with management on financial matters and provide necessary support.
● Perform other related bookkeeping and administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:
● Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably within a small business environment.
● Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, etc.).
● Proficiency in using bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero). Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
● Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.
● Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
● Ability to work independently and take initiative.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● High level of integrity and confidentiality.
● Familiarity with local financial regulations and reporting requirements in Grenada is an advantage.
