Are you a passionate chef with a love for fresh, local ingredients and a talent for creating unique, flavourful dishes? We are seeking an experienced and creative Head Chef to lead the kitchen at our restaurant in one of the marinas in St. George’s, Grenada.

Our small restaurant, located in a charming marina setting, offers a laid-back, vibrant atmosphere where locals and travellers alike come to enjoy delicious meals, fresh seafood, and a variety of island-inspired flavours. We focus on sustainability, and local sourcing, and aim to offer a unique dining experience that celebrates the flavours of Grenada and the Caribbean.

Responsibilities
As our Head Chef, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and executing a seasonal and creative menu.
  • Ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
  • Managing the kitchen staff.
  • Overseeing inventory and food cost management.
  • Upholding health and safety standards in the kitchen and storage areas.
  • Collaborating with management to develop special promotions and events.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a similar setting.
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for Caribbean cuisine.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the restaurant.
