Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Supervisor to join our team. As Sales Supervisor, you will play a critical role in leading our sales team, driving sales growth, and ensuring our customers receive outstanding service. The Sales Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the sales team, ensuring that sales targets and customer service standards are met. This role involves leading by example, mentoring team members, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the food and beverage industry. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills who can develop and implement effective sales strategies while managing day-to-day sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Team Support and Development
Support and advise sales and customer service teams, mentor and develop team members, conduct weekly meetings, and provide ongoing training.
Sales Strategy and Execution
Monitor competitive activity, collaborate with Marketing, ensure sales targets are met, track customer purchasing patterns, and adjust strategies based on performance metrics.
Performance Monitoring
Oversee daily sales operations, monitor salespersons’ route coverage and performance, utilize ERP and CRM tools, and review monthly sales reports.
Reporting and Analysis
Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts, use data to identify trends and opportunities, and ensure timely reporting of sales activities.
Route Management and Customer Engagement
Ensure optimal SKU sales per route, work with teams during trade days, increase market share, build strong customer relationships, and resolve customer issues promptly.
Requirements & Skills
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the food and beverage industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
