With a renewed focus on operational excellence, cultural education, and public engagement, the Museum is undergoing transformative change and expanding its team to support sustainable growth.<br><br><strong>Job Summary</strong><br>The Administrative Officer will provide key administrative support to the Museum’s operations team, reporting directly to the Head of Museum Operations. The role includes office coordination, recordkeeping, HR support, and procurement administration.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>

<li>Maintain and update personnel files, leave registers, and internal schedules</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Bookkeeper also fills the role of Administrative Office Coordinator (AOC) and plays a critical role in the day-to-day operation of the back office at Grenada Marine, and the success of the business.&nbsp; The Bookkeeper/ Administrative Office Coordinator is responsible for assuring that information produced by the administrative back office is accurate to the best of their ability. He/she will support the required procedures that produce accurate invoicing, and financial reports. He/she functions with Accountant guidance and oversight, but must work independently, keep the accountant informed and most importantly supports operational needs for information and data. The position requires proficiency in Microsoft office and Google and the ability to achieve a working knowledge of the company’s management software, as it relates to daily bookkeeping entries, reconciliations, payroll, receivables and payables. The role also includes essential human resource functions.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Qualifications/Competencies:</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Bookkeeper/Administrative Office Coordinator is a self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented individual, who is interested in learning about the importance of a strong, functional support team for the business operations and its accounting needs, and possesses the following qualifications:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li class="">Minimum of ten years of relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting, and supervising staff;</li>



<li class="">knowledge of the boating industry is important, willingness to learn is required;</li>



<li class="">possesses administrative, planning, research, and analytical skills;</li>



<li class="">professional, detail and service oriented;</li>



<li class="">Strong interpersonal skills: positive attitude, self-confident, good work ethic, collaborative, ability to manage work relationships, accepts guidance and instruction from superiors;</li>



<li class="">Work independently and collaboratively to accomplish goals and objectives of administrative back office;</li>



<li class="">Efficient and productive time management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize appropriately;</li>



<li class="">Good written communication skills required, including a command of the English language, the ability to write clearly and effectively.</li>



<li class="">Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times;</li>



<li class="">Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel, ability and willingness to learn new software and computer systems and processes, database experience helpful</li>

<li class="">Provide accurate information to clients in person, via phone, email, social media channels, etc.</li>

<li class="">Receive, sort, and distribute mails</li>



<li class="">Take care of general everyday tasks, which include updating CRMS, scheduling appointments, organizing files, and maintaining office supplies</li>



<li class="">Managing operations booking systems which include vehicles and conference room</li>



<li class="">Perform clerical duties such as filing and photocopying</li>



<li class="">Ensure the reception is tidy and presentable, with all necessary materials e.g., pens, brochures, flyers, etc.</li>

<li class="">An associate degree or experience preferably in Office Administration or Business, as well as passes in English Language and Mathematics at the CSEC level</li>

<li class="">Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners)</li>
