Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all operations are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective way
  • Create and improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices that contribute to the business success and employee development
  • Ability to plan long-term and support the company goals
  • Ability to coordinate different teams to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities
  • Ability to manage a dynamic team and grow their competencies
  • Ability to manage and work along with division leaders to help drive performance and revenue
  • Perform quality controls and monitor employees’ performance
  • Ability to inspire and motivate employees through positive encouragement and incentives
  • Establish ways to increase the quality of customer service
  • Develop plans and standing operating procedures that will help with efficiency and performance
  • Manage employee’s performance and attendance
  • Assess employee development needs, make training recommendations and in some instances facilitate training
  • Enforce AML/FIU standards
  • Filing and scanning
  • Communicate with internal and external vendors
  • Assist with developing and implementing marketing strategies

Requirements and Skills:

  • An associate degree in areas of Operations Management or Business Administration as well as in English Language at the CSEC level
  • Proven work experience as an operations manager or similar role
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Ability to be confidential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Works well in a team environment and possesses the ability to engage employees and make the workplace more effective and efficient
  • Excellent leadership skills, social skills, and knowledge of active listening
  • Knowledge of real estate will be an asset
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve
  • Competence in a variety of software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams or One Drive.
  • Valid driver’s license. Consistent driving experience within the last 2 years
